Three Ladies

Three Ladies is the typical brand of Jasmine Rice we buy in my household. One of the rare times that I find a logo so inspiring and evocative.
Life, death, eating and drinking are all interconnected. It's wonderful to eat good food in good company, but even if you don't eat meat, all nourishment involves the taking in of something else, a kind of death. Once you die, as you rot, you become the good food in good company, the company of roots and vultures and bacteria and maggots. The same pattern occurs all over. I was thinking about this, but I was also thinking about vessels, and how the human and the non-human bodies are a kind of vessels.
I really like how the colours came out and the contrasts between the orange, and the whitish and blackish blues. In the bottom right, the background is built from a gorgeous close-up photo of dates.
